1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- mix the eggs with milk, vanilla, and ground nutmeg in a wide shallow bowl.
- soak the bread halves in the eggs mixture for a few minutes (2-3 minutes), set aside.
- heat the butter and oil in a frying pan and fry the egg soaked bread until golden and scorched in parts of both sides.
- serve the bread in a plate scattering with the cinnamon and sugar. you can also serve it with your favorite kind of jam.
