hey, this saturday i haven't made my floss bread. hahaha. i have a bad feeling with bread since i ruined my pretzel in wednesday. my boyfriend challenged me to make a pretzel that resemble "Auntie Anne's" because he is a big fan of it and on our latest date we bought that together. i've made it twice, but i haven't found the right temperature and timing on baking it. so i thought, it's better for me to take a step from yeast for a while. meanwhile, today i made chocolate cupcakes (honestly, cupcakes is a right thing to encourage my mood on baking, cause it's the only cake that i've never failed to make. hahaha). for the frosting, i used liqueur icing and sprinkles some chopped smarties on top of it.

shrimp curry muffin
hmm, today is shrimp curry muffin day, quite successful. but still imperfect, 'cause the paper liner wasn't filled properly with my batter so the muffin didn't popped out from the paper liner nicely. but that's fine, it's still delicious, especially when you eat it warm in a cozy evening with tomato ketchup and chilli sauce. nyumm..

still, cheesecake..
ya ya ya, jd cheesecake yg keempat jg gagal bleh. hahaha. sama aja sama yg ketiga ditambah gosong di atas. cuman bisa ketawa ketiwi ngeliatnya.. bingung mau apa lagi. hahaha. sebenernya resep yang dipake sama kok sama resep yang sudah beredar di hampir setiap blog org. haahahaha. resepnya 'yasa boga'. yg '35 variasi resep-resep cheesecake'..
klo diliat dr pengalaman org-org lain di luar sana, mrk berhasil-berhasil aja tuh. hehe. you can try your luck with this recipe. sapa tau kalian spt kbanyakan org di luar sana yg berhasil. hwhw. tp aku saranin buat org-org yg ptama kali bikin cheesecake ini, lbh baik bikin stgh resep dl.. sayang telornya. hahaha. lagian ini emg tll besar porsinya menurut aku, satu resep ini bs buat bikin 2 loyang oval standar cheesecake itu..

oh my Gosh, the cheesecake!
this post is going to tell you about my experience in baking Taiwanese Cheesecake. haha. honestly, it is too hard for me to elaborate all my feelings and emotions towards this cheesecake in English. so, i'm gonna make this post in Indonesian! hehehe.. x)
hmm, ini yang ketiga kalinya aku bikin Taiwanese Cheesecake, lbh tepatnya hampir yg keempat krn skrg lg nungguin batch kedua, hehe. tapi bs dibilang dr 3 yg udh jadi itu nggak ada satupun yg beres hasilnyaaaa.. pertama kali bikin kue ini, salah kaprah, disuruh nge-tim susu, mentega, cream cheese, tp yg ada malah aku masak/rebus. hahahaha. jadi liat kayak bikin adonan kue sus. hahaha. trus udh gt pas ngocok putih telor, bener-bener sampe stiff peaks kyk mau bikin sponge cake. hahaha. tnyata itu salah yaa? haha. pas yg ptama kali, aku kira itu bantet karena kelamaan manggangnya, iya sih emang lama 1,5 jam di oven krn aku pengen atasnya coklat. tapi ampe 1,5 jam itupun belom coklat, tp krn aku takut nanti malah terjadi sesuatu yg lbh tdk diinginkan, aku angkat aja kuenya dr oven. pas dipotong, omyGod, kayak cheesefudge (padahal lom tentu ada jg tuh cheese fudge, haha).

my bitterballen
today, i finally made my bitterballen. hihi. it turned out almost perfect, i'm just lacking my skill on frying. hahaha. and actually making bitterballen is not that hard, it's quite simple.. the funny thing is that usually i was a really lazy girl on turning the batter until it forms a ball. i did that patiently this time and it gives me quite a satisfaction to look at. hihi.

hurray!
yihii, holiday comes again! hahaha. after experiencing a terribly long holiday that starts from may until last september, which is enough to make me used 4kg butter for making different types of cakes and other sweet dishes. this week my college gives me another break although just for 6 days, but that's enough to play in the kitchen! hihi. actually i also can bake and cook in other days, but sometimes i'm just too tired if it is not weekend, and if it is on weekend, sometimes i forgot to buy some storage or i just want to go somewhere or sleep.. haha. because as far as i know cooking and baking needs mood in it otherwise it will not satisfy us, so it's better for me not to experimenting on my flour, sugar, milk, and other yummy stuff if i'm not completely have my passion on baking/cooking that day. :)
so today, i've planned to make some dishes in this week that hopefully can turn out very well:
- Taiwanese Cheesecake
- Floss Bread
- Shrimp Curry Muffin
- Bitterballen
